Broccoli And Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
1/2 c. carrots, grated
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 stick margarine
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
Preparation

Combine vegetables in saucepan and cook until nearly done. Melt butter in medium saucepan; stir in flour until smooth.
Add milk; stir constantly.
When mixture becomes thick, add cheese (cubed) and stir until melted.
Add vegetables and pepper to taste, mixing well.
Heat thoroughly.
For a thinner soup, add more milk.
