Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 eggs
1 stick margarine, melted
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and melted margarine to flour mixture and mix thoroughly with electric mixer or by hand.
Add nuts by folding into other mixture.
Place in 13 1/2 x 9-inch baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Let cool in pan before cutting into squares. Yields 30 (1/2-inch) squares.
