Angel-Strawberry Bavarian - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small angel food cake (9 oz.)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. sweetened, frozen, sliced strawberries, thawed
    1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 1/2 c. whipping cream, chilled and divided
    2 1/2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    4 fresh strawberries for garnish
Preparation
    Cut cake into 1-inch cubes.
    In small bowl, combine jello and boiling water.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Drain strawberries, reserving juice.
    Add enough water to strawberry juice to make 1 cup.
    Stir in jello.
    Refrigerate until jello is slightly thickened.
    Beat jello until foamy.
    Fold one cup whipping cream into jello along with strawberries.
    Alternate layer of cake cubes and strawberry mixture in 10-inch tube pan.
    Unmold cake onto serving plate.
    Mix together 1 1/2 cups whipping cream, confectioners sugar and vanilla.
    Frost sides and top of cake. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    Garnish with strawberries.
