Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time with a dash of salt in last egg. Add flour alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Mix well. Put in four cake pans lined with wax paper. Bake at 350\u00b0 until done. Cool about ten minutes.
