Dry Cereal And Nut Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. margarine
1 1/4 c. unsalted, roasted peanuts
2 1/2 c. assorted unsweetened ready to eat cereals
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/4 tsp. chili powder
Preparation

Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
Melt margarine in a large baking pan in oven.
Remove pan from oven; stir in nuts and cereals.
Mix well. Sprinkle with seasonings; stir well.
Bake uncovered in oven 20 to 30 minutes or until light colored cereals begin to brown.
Stir every 10 minutes.
Serve warm or cooled.
Store cooled cereal snack in tightly closed containers.
If snack needs recrisping, reheat in 250\u00b0 oven for a few minutes.
Makes 9 servings, 1/3 cup each equals approximately 67 calories (6 g carbohydrates, 2 g protein and 15 g fat).
