Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
5 c. self-rising flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in small amount of water (1/2 cup) and let sit. Sift dry ingredients together.
Add shortening and mix thoroughly.
Stir in buttermilk and dissolved yeast.
Use as needed.
