Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. American cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Melt margarine.
    Warm soup; add margarine, sour cream, salt and pepper.
    Pour over hash browns, cheese and onions; mix well. Bake in large casserole at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
