Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oatmeal
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. cane sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Pour 3/4 cup hot water over oats and let stand for 20 minutes. Cream together Crisco, brown sugar, can sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and vanilla.
    Add oatmeal, flour and baking soda. Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Do not overbake.
