Quick Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. shortening
    6 1/2 to 7 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. Mix together warm water, sugar, salt and dry yeast and stir until dissolved. Stir in beaten egg and shortening; add your flour and mix well. Set in the refrigerator until raised. Shape into rolls and set to raise at room temperature
    for 1 hour, then bake for 20 minutes. Use two 9 x 13-inch pans. Serves 24.
