Blueberry Batter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. blueberries
juice of 1/2 lemon
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Line an 8 x 12-inch pan with blueberries. Sprinkle lemon juice over fruit. Cream together 3/4 cup sugar and butter with electric mixer. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk, alternating with flour mixture, to creamed sugar and butter, a little at a time, to make batter.
Pour batter over berries. Combine 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt. Sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over cake.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
