Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Domino brownulated sugar
juice and grated rind of 1 navel orange
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
6 medium sweet potatoes or yams, parboiled, peeled and halved
Preparation

In large skillet, combine sugar, grated rind, orange juice and butter.
Heat, stirring occasionally, over moderate heat until blended and smooth.
Add potatoes and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
Baste and turn potatoes occasionally to glaze evenly.
