Swiss Steak And Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak
    1/2 c. onions
    1/2 c. carrots
    1/2 c. green peppers
    1/2 c. celery
    salt, pepper and flour (pound into steak)
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice or canned tomatoes
Preparation
    Trim steak and rub with garlic.
    Pound into steak as much seasoned flour as both sides will hold.
    Brown meat in fat on one side.
    When turned over, place in casserole; add chopped vegetables and seasoning.
    Cover with tomato juice.
    Bake in covered casserole for 2 to 2 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
