Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
3 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Sift all dry ingredients together in large bowl.
Add shortening, buttermilk and yeast; mix well.
Turn out onto floured surface; knead well.
Cover; refrigerate. When ready to bake, pinch off as much dough as needed.
Keep remaining dough in refrigerator.
Roll out amount you are using to about 1/2 inch thickness.
Let sit in pan to rise for 15 to 20 minutes. Bake in 375\u00b0 oven until brown, about 20 to 25 minutes.
