Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 (1 oz.) bottle red food coloring
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together; add cocoa and red food coloring together.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Grease and flour cake pans; spread batter evenly in pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until tests done.
    Bake in two 9-inch pans. Serves 8.
