Vanity Fair Coconut Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. milk, scalded
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. Baker's coconut
Preparation
    Combine eggs, salt and sugar.
    Add milk gradually, then add coconut and mix thoroughly.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 15 minutes, then decrease heat to moderate 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
    Cool.
