Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
3 to 6 Tbsp. ice cold water
Preparation

Mix flour and salt together in bowl.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Add water, a little at a time, until mixture is moist and pulls together easily.
Cover with damp cloth or plastic wrap and let stand for a few minutes.
Flour and roll out pastry to 1/8-inch thick or less.
Place in 9-inch pie pan and trim 1-inch larger than pan.
Flute edge or fold under.
Chill in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Fill crust and bake.
