Pineapple Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. citric acid
    4 qt. water
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 large bottle ginger ale
Preparation
    Mix sugar, citric acid, water and pineapple juice.
    Freeze. Just before serving, pour in the ginger ale.
