Groten Hans(Steamed Dumpling) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. melted butter
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. milk or more
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. raisins
    4 beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Combine sugar, egg yolks and melted butter.
    Stir together the dry ingredients and add alternately to the egg yolks with the milk.
    Add vanilla and raisins.
    Fold in the beaten egg whites. Turn into a cloth, place in a steamer and steam 2 to 3 hours, until firm like a heavy bread.
