Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine and thoroughly mix shortening, sugar and eggs. Combine and sift flour, cream of tartar and salt.
    Stir into shortening mixture; add vanilla.
    Roll into balls.
    Make mixture of sugar and cinnamon and roll balls in it.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
