Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
    2 1/2 lb. chicken pieces
    1 pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 can crushed tomatoes
    1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets onion soup mix
    1/4 c. dry red wine
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
Preparation
    In 6-quart saucepot, heat oil over medium-high heat and brown chicken pieces. Add mushrooms and cook
    2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in crushed tomatoes, soup mix, wine and basil. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, 30 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked noodles or rice. Yield: 4 servings.
