German Green Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium size cabbage
    1 bunch green onions
    1/2 green pepper
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Shred or chop the cabbage. Dice the pepper and green onions, using some of the green onion stems.
    Salt and pepper lightly. Mix in a jar or blender the remaining ingredients.
    Pour over cabbage. Cover well and refrigerate overnight.
    Pour off some of the dressing before serving, if necessary.
