Sausage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/3 c. milk
    3/4 lb. bulk lean sausage
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk, then roll dough jelly roll fashion with sausage layer in the middle. Cut in 1/2-inch slices and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
