Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef, in thin strips
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/4 c. cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
Preparation
    Coat meat with flour.
    Heat oil in 3-quart saucepan.
    Brown meat and onion.
    Stir in salt, pepper, soup, milk and water. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and cook 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Add frozen vegetables; return to boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and cook 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
