Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 lb. round steak, sliced
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. chopped onions
2 green peppers, sliced
1 qt. tomatoes
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. each salt and sugar
cooked Minute rice
Preparation

In wok or electric skillet, melt butter; add beef and garlic. Saute until browned. Remove meat. Saute onions and peppers, then stir in meat, tomatoes and bouillon cube.
Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. In a bowl, blend water, cornstarch, soy sauce, salt and sugar. Add to meat mixture and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Serve over rice.
