Lemon Cake For Lazy Ladies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lemon Supreme cake mix
    1 pkg. lemon instant pudding
    4 eggs
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. Crisco
    1 can Lucky Leaf pie filling
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    (I add 1 tablespoon each of lemon flavoring and lemon juice because I like a really lemony flavor.) Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
    Pour into a tube pan that has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool completely.
    Slice across cake into 3 sections.
    Divide a can of pie filling into 3 parts.
    Cover tops of each sliced of cake with filling.
    Frost sides and hole with Cool Whip and refrigerate.
    May be garnished as you wish, either lemon zest or almonds.
    I have used both.
