Down South Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. honey
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c. Karo white corn syrup
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Start heating oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter well in medium mixing bowl.
    Add sugar slowly to butter, creaming until light. Slowly stir in syrup, honey, eggs, vanilla and 1 cup nuts.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Top with rest of nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
    Cool.
    Good served with whipped topping or ice cream.
