Pineapple Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten to blend
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. crushed canned pineapple (in juice), well drained (save 3 Tbsp. juice)
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
oil (for deep frying)
Preparation

Heat oil in large saucepan or deep fryer to 350\u00b0.
Combine milk, sugar, egg, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and salt in medium bowl and beat well.
Stir in pineapple with reserved juice.
Sift in flour and baking powder and stir just until dry ingredients are evenly moistened.
Drop batter into hot oil in batches by rounded tablespoons.
Fry until deep golden, about 3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towel.
Serve immediately.
