Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, cut in bite size pieces
    1 bell pepper, finely chopped
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 small can LeSueur peas, drained
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Layer the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl in order listed. Spread mayonnaise over vegetables.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Top with cheese.
    Chill overnight.
    Yields 10 servings.
