Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. oregano
2 c. Bisquick
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
8 slices American cheese
1 can sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Cook ground beef and add tomato sauce and oregano.
Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Stir Bisquick, egg and milk to a soft dough.
Spread 1/2 of the dough in greased pan (dish pan).
Pour remaining can of tomato sauce over dough, spreading evenly.
Layer 4 slices of cheese, the meat mixture, mushrooms, remaining cheese slices and Parmesan cheese.
Cover with remaining dough.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
