Scotch Meat Loaves(Cannonballs) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 beaten egg
    1/4 c. soft bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground sage
    dash of garlic powder
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 hard-cooked eggs
    1/4 c. chili sauce
    1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    1 slice American cheese, shredded or sliced
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine beaten egg, bread crumbs, celery, onion, salt, sage and garlic powder.
    Add ground beef; mix well. Shape half of each mixture around each peeled, hard-cooked egg. Arrange meat loaves in a baking dish.
    Combine chili sauce, parsley, water and oregano; pour over meat loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Spoon chili sauce mixture over loaves; top each with cheese.
    Return to oven and heat until cheese melts.
    Makes 2 servings.
