Pumpkin Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. dates, chopped
    1/2 c. pecans
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. pumpkin
Preparation
    Cream margarine with sugar.
    Add flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices.
    Add buttermilk and stir.
    Blend in dates, pecans, eggs and pumpkin.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
