Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat by hand.
Sift flour, cocoa and salt.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven; pour on marshmallows and return to 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
