Easy Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, sliced
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    salt and pepper
    1 c. water
    stale bread
    shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Cook onions in olive oil until golden brown.
    Sprinkle flour over onions and brown flour.
    Add water all at once.
    Stir well to avoid clumping.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    (Liberal is better.) Allow to cook down for a bit for thicker soup.
