Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. oatmeal
6 medium apples, cored, peeled and sliced
cinnamon
Preparation

Combine and cut with pastry blender flour, brown sugar and margarine.
Then add the oatmeal.
Mix together and put over sliced apples which have been sprinkled with cinnamon.
I also sprinkle water over this, usually about 1/2 to 2/3 cup depending on whether or not you like a chewy topping (without the water, it will be a more crumbly topping).
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for about 30 to 45 minutes.
You can check doneness by inserting a fork into apple slices.
