Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    4 eggs, unbeaten
    2 c. grated carrots
    2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. raisins, heated and floured
Preparation
    Add first 8 ingredients as listed; beat for 8 minutes, then add carrots, nuts and raisins.
    Mix and bake in a tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.
    When cake is placed in oven, put shallow pan of water on rack under cake.
