Mom'S Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. sour apples (only)
    1 can 10 biscuits
    sugar
    butter
    nutmeg or cinnamon
    boiling water
Preparation
    Chip apples up into small chips; roll biscuits one at a time out to be very thin.
    Put chipped apples in center of biscuits. Add 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon butter and a little nutmeg or cinnamon.
    Fold edge of biscuit over all of the ingredients.
    Put folded side down in baking dish.
    Finish all the rolled dough and put in pan.
    Sprinkle any chipped apples left on top of dumplings. Sprinkle sugar well over the top of them.
    Add nutmeg or cinnamon and dot with butter.
    Pour boiling water on top of all this until almost to the top of dumplings.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until top of dough is lightly browned.
