Kumquats And Mandarins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarins, drained
    2 tsp. reserved kumquat syrup
    1 tsp. ginger preserved in syrup
    6 kumquats preserved in syrup
    2 tsp. reserved mandarin syrup
Preparation
    Drain mandarins and kumquats, reserve packing syrup in separate containers.
    Finely chop mandarins.
    Remove pits from the kumquats and finely chop.
    Mix kumquats, mandarins and all remaining ingredients in a bowl.
    Refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
    Serve chilled as a dessert or as a side dish for poultry, pork or fish. Serves 2.
