Mom, Mom Jenny'S Cheese Log - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 c. sour cream
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine flour, butter and sour cream. Divide in 4 portions. Wrap each portion in wax paper and chill.
    Roll individual balls on well floured surface. Roll each 12 x 6-inches.
    Sprinkle dough with salt and pepper.
    Cover dough with 3/4 cup cheese.
    Start with 12-inch side and roll like jelly roll.
    Place seam down on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Make cuts halfway through dough and approximately 1-inch apart.
    Sprinkle top with paprika.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
