Michigan Rocks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 eggs
    1 c. dates, cut into pieces
    1 c. raisins, cooked a little and drained
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix altogether.
    Drop from teaspoon onto nonstick cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 (about 15 minutes per tray).
