Grandma Ruby'S Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. biscuit mix
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 pkg. yeast (optional)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. buttermilk, heated (for yeast starter)
    6 to 8 oz. grated sharp or Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix ingredients; let rise in a warm place for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Pat out to 1/2-inch thickness; cut into 2-inch rounds. Place on baking sheet sprayed with Pam.
    Bake at 500\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
