Country Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-1/2 lbs. round steak (3/4-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    Pound steak; cut into serving size pieces.
    In skillet, brown steak in shortening; pour off fat.
    Stir in soup and water.
    Cover and simmer 1-1/2 hours or until done.
    Stir often.
