Four Egg Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Add cold water and mix thoroughly.
    Sift flour before measuring, then sift 4 times with salt, baking powder and cornstarch.
    Add eggs and sugar; mix.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and bake in ungreased tube pan in slow 320\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
