Jello Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello*
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water
    1 white cake mix
Preparation
    Stir the jello and boiling water for 3 minutes to dissolve jello.
    Add the cold water; stir 3 minutes.
    Prepare a white cake mix according to box directions and bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Cool.
    Using table fork or meat fork, punch holes every 1/2 inch in cake.
    Slowly pour jello on top of cake.
    Chill 3 to 4 hours. Frost with Cool Whip.
    Refrigerate.
