Perfect Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. milk
    2 slightly beaten eggs
    2 c. 1-inch bread cubes
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine milk and eggs; pour over bread cubes.
    Add remaining ingredients; toss lightly to blend.
    Spread in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Set in shallow pan on oven rack.
    Pour hot water around 1-inch deep.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
