Peanut Butter Vanilla Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. vanilla flavored candy coating
2 c. crisp rice cereal
1 c. chopped peanuts
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. peanut butter morsels
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Melt candy coating in large heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat.
Stir in cereal and remaining ingredients.
Stir gently until morsels are partially melted.
Spoon mixture into a greased 9-inch square pan.
Let cool completely.
Cut into squares.
Yield:
3 dozen.
