Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. water
few grains of salt
1 egg white
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt, corn syrup and water in saucepan over low heat. Stir until dissolved, then cook to 252\u00b0. While cooking, beat white of egg until stiff. Pour syrup slowly into the egg white, beating all the time. Add vanilla just before candy looses its gloss. When it has lost the gloss, drop from teaspoon onto wax paper.
