Blue Ribbon Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs, well beaten
3/4 c. oil
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
2 c. grated carrots
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Orange-Cream Cheese Frosting
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Use 2 (9-inch) round pans.
Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Set aside.
Combine eggs, oil, buttermilk, sugar and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Stir in flour mixture, pineapple, carrots, coconut and walnuts.
Pour into layer pans.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
Spread with Orange-Cream Cheese Frosting.
