Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. nuts
1 c. butterscotch tips

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Stir in beaten egg, water and vanilla which have been beaten until light and foamy.
Sift together dry ingredients; add to top mixture.
Add oatmeal, nuts and butterscotch tips.
