Chicken With Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stewing or roasting chicken, cut up
1 (No. 2) can bamboo shoots
2 oz. dried mushrooms, soaked and cut into quarters
1 piece ginger, crushed
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 Tbsp. peanut oil
2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. shoyu
4 c. water
1 Tbsp. liquor
1 stalk green onions, cut fine
Preparation

Heat saucepan.\tAdd oil;
brown garlic and ginger.
Add chicken;
brown
slightly.\tAdd salt, shoyu, liquor and water; simmer
for
30
minutes.
Add
bamboo shoots, which have been sliced,
and
mushrooms;
simmer until chicken is tender.
Add thickening made of cornstarch and water.
Add green onions and serve.
