Zesty Chuck Strips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef chuck
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 red peppers
    6 large carrots
    3/4 c. white raisins
    4 1/2 c. beef stock
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 tsp. ground ginger
    3 c. rice
    8 Tbsp. flour
    3 large green peppers
    20 green onions
    3/4 c. raisins
    6 stalks celery
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard
    3 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cut beef, carrots, celery and peppers into strips.
    If red peppers are not available, use green peppers.
    Mix flour, salt and pepper; then roll meat in seasoned flour.
    Melt butter in a large skillet.
    Add meat and brown.
    Stir in other ingredients and mix well.
    Cover and cook gently until meat is tender.
    Cooking time: approximately 3 1/2 hours.
    Serve over rice, prepared to package instructions.
